Laings is a particularly well known Scottish retailer and are no stranger to the use of video. Frequently deploying video in full advertisements and expanded campaigns, they got on board with video before many others and know how to utilise it.

 

In this campaign, they wanted to draw attention to a particular part of their business, preowned watches.  Dealing in watches of extreme exclusivity, this service specialises in sourcing and reselling of highly desirable watches from the likes of Rolex and Patek Philippe, sometimes at eye watering prices.

 

We crafted a short piece to camera featuring their preowned watch manager, featuring a selection of available watches and a behind the scenes look at the Laings workshop.  Our aims were to demonstrate the quality of both the quality and the service that Laings provide.  This dictated our shot selection, music choice and even pacing of the video, nominating to edit it to a steady and relaxed pace, conveying luxury and trust to any potential consumer.  The video performed extremely well across multiple platforms garnering twice the average engagement and was their most viewed video of the season.  Check it out below!
